The Spanish monarchy had fallen into the hands of Napoleon and the English feared for the American territories, war on the seas was inevitable, Spanish America wanted independence, but Spain clung to its monopolies, meanwhile a group of men secretly plotted the "Great American Meeting" in London.

There, Francisco de Miranda, Simon Bolivar, Bernardo de O'Higgins and Jose de San Martin, agreed on a continental plan that would change history forever, in an English frigate they left for Buenos Aires a group of them, that under signs, words and secret touches, undertook a risky mission: The freedom of South America.
