The excursion is carried out by a licensed tour guide with 10 years of experience and the author of the book "Hiking Guide to Bari".
The route includes a visit to the Basilica of St. Nicholas, where you will visit the tomb of the saint and hear both the historical facts related to St. Nicholas and his legends and miracles, learning what scientists have discovered by analyzing the relics in the last century.

We will see the 12th-century Norman-Swabian castle from the outside and we will talk about the period of Norman power on the Apulian land. Also, the castle has both its history and mysterious facts.

In the cathedral of San Sabino, you will see two styles of architecture: Romanesque and Baroque. You will discover the event that takes place on the day of the summer solstice.
We walk along the road known as the «orecchiette» and you will see how women prepare orecchiette.
