We will walk through less known and more residential areas of Venice away from the crowds. We will visit important monuments, museums, churches that guard famous relics, the great schools of Venice and places where illustrious figures of Venetian art had their place of work in Venice.
We will indicate the places where the Venetians meet and have fun in their free time, the best osterias and baccari, as well as the best place to taste a "Spritz" and other delights of Venetian cuisine. We will visit closely a "squero" an old Venetian workshop where gondolas are manufactured and repaired. We will be surprised by the incredible naval engineering that was made at the time and its origin.
We will walk through the foundations and the most important churches in Venice will impact us with their beauty and their history. The festival of the Redentore and the Salute are two of the most important for the Venetians, both related to the Black Death.
We will end the tour at the southern end of the Canal Grande, from this point the city offers one of the most incredible views, with its palaces and majesty decorating the Grand Canal. It will be a 360-degree tour!
