We will discover the oldest neighborhood in Valparaíso and the point of historical origin of the port city. We start at Plaza Sotomayor recognizing its architecture and other stories that shaped this plaza built on the sea during the 19th century. Then we enter the Barrio Puerto, part of the UNESCO site and origin of Valparaíso that maintains until today the traditional porteño life with its local commerce, bars and popular "picás" including the renovated *Puerto Market, you will discover colorful and artistic graffiti of porteño street art . We will take the elevators to Cerro Alegre and Cerro Cordillera to see viewpoints with unique views of the colored houses and the bay. We finish the tour at the *Mercado Puerto with the alternatives of popular restaurants in Valparaíso.

Please look for the guide dressed in a green Ecomapu t-shirt who will be waiting on the light blue platform in Sotomayor Square (Plaza Sotomayor). The meeting point is on the light blue platform, which is about 15 meters in front of the fire station, between Cochrane and Blanco streets. The appointment is at 12:00 PM, and the tour starts at 12:10 PM.
*Our guides speak at least two languages. The tour can be in two languages.
