Baku Old City Tour

Your tour will begin at the Double Gates, where you'll start your Old City walking tour. This tour lasts approximately 1-2 hours. From the Double Gates, you will see the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, the Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, the Juma Mosque, and the Maiden Tower.

Your guide will explain the history of the Old City and its landmarks. After taking photos in front of the Maiden Tower, you'll proceed to visit the Miniature Book Museum (if open), home to the world's largest collection of miniature books, including one with a thickness of just 0.75mm and 22 pages.

Next, you'll visit the Shirvanshah Palace, a jewel of Azerbaijani architecture. This former residence of the Shirvan rulers is located in the heart of Baku. The complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, a tomb, the 1441 mosque, as well as a bathhouse, and the mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.
